Welcome to Tziganos Tapas Bar and Grill in Blackheath Village. This is my favourite restaurant in London that I have eaten in so far. Everything is cooked fresh to order, which means there is a bit of waiting time for your food but it is worth it. Last week, after many dinners and late lunches here, my boyfriend and I decided to try the Tziganos Paella. Now Salvo, one of the owners, recommends if you want to have the Paella you should pre-book it as the waiting time for Paella is 45-55mins. To pass the time we started off with some of our favourites from the Tapas menu. Zucchine Croccanti (deep fried breaded courgettes batons served with garlic mayo) £5.25 Bruschetta (toasted bread topped with fresh tomatoes, garlic, olive oil and basil) £4.95
After enjoying out starters and sipping on our wine while watching the sunset on busy Blackheath our Paella was served just in time for the Sunday evening live music.Paella De Marisco (Freshly cooked with clams, mussels, squid, prawns and mixed vegetables.) £15.95 per person Live Music every Sunday from 7pm- 10pmFor more information about Tziganos or to make a booking call 020 8852 9226 or visit their website.
