Three is the Magic Number

Breakfast is one of those meals in the day that I find so hard to be motivated or inspired about, which is frustrating since we are taught that breakfast is the most important meal of the day; normally I’m either too hungry to be able to decide what I really want or too strapped for time to be able to make anything interesting.

The best thing to have for breakfast is fruit; why? because it is the simplest carbohydrate for your body to digest, which means you receive almost instant energy without the sluggish feeling you get after eating something heavy like a fry-up.

Fruit is also practical in the mornings as it doesn’t require a lot of preparation and you can even take it with you to eat on your commute if you’re really caught for time. If you do have a bit more time though, some fruit milks are easy to prepare and add a little bit of fun to your breakfast; compared to shop bought flavoured milks these are free of additives and colourings and are completely healthy. If you have any little people in your life, these colourful tasty milks are a great way to get them excited about eating more fruit.
