Wonderful Wanders | The Irish Countryside
It’s been a while since I did a Wonderful Wanders post, and what better way to bring back this much loved series than with some gorgeous photos from my recent trip home to Ireland?
Irish people spend a lot of time complaining about the weather, and yes, it rains a lot in Ireland but the consequence is the most beautiful, luscious countryside; the grass is never greener than it is in Ireland. Recently Giovanni and I travelled home to the Emerald Isle, and to my home county of Tipperary, for a family wedding; we haven’t been on holiday together since last year in Sardegna and so we took the week to relax and appreciate the beautiful views. While there was lots to do in preparation for the wedding, we did manage to fit in some walks and time spent wandering and taking in our surroundings; we came back feeling relaxed and peaceful.
London can be very over whelming at times, and you can sometimes feel like you’re fighting a losing battle what with travel expenses and crazy rent; escaping from the city always helps us to refocus and reevaluate where we stand, fresh air helps us to clear our minds and set new goals for when we return to the everyday. Both Giovanni and I thoroughly enjoyed our little holiday, we felt closer to friends and family than ever before and have spent the past few days planning our goals for the end of 2016.
