Biscuiteers Celebrates 9 Years in Business!

Nine years ago Biscuiteers was imagined and brought to life by husband and wife Harriet Hastings & Stevie Congdon; they wanted to share their love for biscuits and create something that not only tasted good but was beautiful to look at too. What started out as a side project in a catering kitchen is now a huge online business, stocked in Selfridges, Fortnum & Mason, Harrods, The Conran Shop, as well as Colette and le Grand Epicerie in Paris and has even has two Biscuit Boutiques here in London.

So, what makes Biscuiteers so special? What sets them aside from other biscuits brands so much so that top names like Mulberry, Boden, Dolce & Gabanna and Burberry are lining up to collaborate with them?

“From the start we were committed to using the very best natural ingredients to get the flavour we wanted. We then started planning our launch collections, working on our designs and deciding on the big occasions. We wanted the biscuits to be beautiful and witty. We called them ‘collections’ because we knew we wanted to launch them seasonally like fashion collections and to keep refreshing and developing the range.” -Harriet Hastings co-founder of Biscuiteers

To this day, Biscuiteer biscuits are hand-baked and iced in their kitchens and bakeries by expert bakers and icing artists; each biscuit is individually made with care and love from start to finish which is an impressive accomplishment in a day and age where most things are mass-produced in factories by machines. Not only that, but these iced masterpieces really do taste as good as they look; there are no corners cut at Biscuiteers!

This month Biscuiteers celebrate nine years in business and to mark the occasion they have created a special birthday collection; this beautifully decorated tin is filled with delicious party themed biscuits, perfect if you or someone you know has a birthday coming up, or maybe you just want to join in the Biscuiteer fun?!
